Hospitality & Private Club

Thirteen years of private club relationships, several of them long-tenure — one running fourteen years — and other clients reaching out directly to request a bid, rather than being cold-pitched. In an industry that mostly hires by word of mouth, that’s the signal that actually matters.

What Long Tenure Actually Requires

A private club isn’t a typical IT client — member-facing systems, point-of-sale, and day-to-day operations all have to keep working without members ever thinking about the infrastructure behind them. That kind of relationship isn’t won on a sales pitch; it’s earned one renewal at a time.

Hospitality & Resort — Where Downtime Is Revenue Lost

Two current clients are large resort and spa properties — roughly 600 rooms combined, full-service spas, and food & beverage operations running alongside the rooms themselves. These properties run on Resort Data Processor (RDP), the property management system at the center of day-to-day operations — reservations, billing, and guest services all depend on it staying up.

That system is also where RDP Reports came from — a custom tool built specifically for this environment, born from a real, repeated request to RDP for better reporting that went unanswered.

A Real Infrastructure Migration

The infrastructure inherited on one of these accounts was failing on a weekly basis — a Xen virtualization environment on Nexus storage that couldn’t keep up. The fix happened in two stages:

  1. Migration to Proxmox on SAN storage with high availability

  2. A full migration off-premises, onto the same private cloud cluster that hosts other client environments today

Since that migration, outages of the kind that used to happen weekly haven’t been a recurring problem.

The Same Standard, Applied Consistently

Point-of-sale integration, guest-facing network reliability, and flat-rate accountability apply across private club, resort and hospitality, and food & beverage work — infrastructure built so "the system is down" isn’t a sentence anyone has to say during service hours.
