RDP Reports

RDP Reports closes a specific gap: properties running Resort Data Processor (RDP), the hospitality property management system, have no way to see reservation data during an outage, and no reporting beyond what RDP itself ships with. RDP Reports was built to cover both.

Summary

When RDP goes down, front desk staff lose access to reservation data at exactly the moment guests are checking in or out — a real operational emergency, not a minor inconvenience. RDP Reports exists because that gap went unaddressed for years.

  • Front desk keeps working during an RDP outage — a continuously refreshed reservation snapshot stays available regardless of whether RDP itself is up.

  • Built from a real, repeated request — one property asked RDP directly for this, repeatedly, and never got an answer.

  • Multi-property from day one — one report, correctly disambiguating identical room numbers across different locations.

The Problem It Solves

RDP has never offered a snapshot or offline reference report. During an outage, front desk staff are left with no access to reservation data at all — not a minor inconvenience, a real front-desk emergency during exactly the moment guests are checking in or out.

This gap was raised with RDP directly, repeatedly, over years, with no response. RDP Reports exists because the request went unanswered.

What It Does Today

Live reservation snapshot

Searchable, filterable, and sortable by property, status, and time window — refreshed automatically, every hour, with no manual step required.

Multi-property support

One report, color-coded by property, built specifically to disambiguate identical room numbers across different locations.

Print-ready snapshot

A dedicated print view strips the report down to exactly what a front desk needs during an outage — nothing else.

On the Roadmap

These are active development, not a wish list:

Feature Status

Occupancy dashboard

Planned — live occupancy visibility across properties, at a glance.

Housekeeping & arrival manifests

Planned — automated reporting generated from the same live data feed.

Financial analytics

Planned — revenue trends and OTA-versus-direct booking comparison, pending validation against the property’s own books before anything customer-facing ships.

Where This Came From

RDP Reports started with one property’s real, repeated request for better reporting and offline resilience — a request RDP itself never answered. It’s built the same way every 795IT tool is: a real problem first, software second.

Availability

RDP Reports isn’t sold on its own with its own price tag. It comes through 795IT’s Custom Automation access, the same as every other tool:

  • Managed services customers — already covered, part of the relationship.

  • Tools only, no full agreement — available on its own, billed alongside infrastructure hosting, no managed-services contract required.
